Karen joined the Private Client Department in 2011 and works from the Hazel Grove office, she specialises in Estate Administration, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters.  Karen enjoys helping her clients to deal with their legal affairs at what can sometimes be a stressful time in their lives, in a sensitive and professional manner.

Karen obtained a diploma in Trusts and Estates from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) with distinction on 19th December 2013.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

The satisfaction of helping people in a practical way at difficult times in their lives.


If you were not a lawyer, how would you earn a living?

I would like to have been a historian.


What is your highest career achievement?

Achieving a distinction in gaining the STEP (Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners) Diploma.


Of what, in your life, are you most proud?

My family.


How would you spend your perfect day?

At the seaside with friends and family.


How do you relax?

Reading, gardening, walking, keeping fit and shopping for clothes.


What is the single most important thing that you want to do before you die?

There are lots of things I still want to do and it is impossible to choose one.
