Describe yourself in five words?

Determined, loyal, friendly, conscientious and positive.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

Every day is different and presents a new challenge and the team I work with. Everybody is friendly, hard-working and helpful.

If you were not a lawyer, how would you earn a living?

I would re-train as a paramedic. I find it fascinating and such a worthy and undervalued career.

What is your highest career achievement?

It may not be a career achievement, as such, but completing my degree whilst working full time and having my daughter in the process. It was a few years of hard work and very little sleep!

Of what, in your life, are you most proud?

My family.

How would you spend your perfect day?

I would start with breakfast by the Mediterranean with my husband and daughter, followed by a leisurely walk in the lakes with family and friends. Next would be a lengthy pub lunch with lots of chat and laughs. Dinner would be a nice restaurant with my closest friends and my immediate family, then off home to put my pyjamas on and spend the evening with the two most important people in my life.

How do you relax?

Reading and walking.

What is the single most important thing that you want to do before you die?

To have lived a long and happy life!

What was the last song you listened to?

Reflektor by Arcade Fire in the car on my way to work this morning.
